What We Provide:

  • Diagnosis or treatment of mental health conditions
  • Medical advice or treatment
  • Crisis intervention or emergency services
  • Therapy for trauma, addiction, or severe mental health issues

  • Allergic reactions to food or environmental factors

Co-Facilitator: Christi Matens
  • Master's Degree in Counseling
  • Certified Professional Life Coach
  • Not a licensed therapist, counselor, or mental health professional

Confidentiality

Group Confidentiality:
  • What is shared in group sessions stays within the group
  • All participants agree to maintain confidentiality
  • Facilitators will maintain confidentiality except as noted below
Limits to Confidentiality: Confidentiality may be broken if:
  • You pose an imminent danger to yourself or others
  • There is suspected abuse of a child, elderly person, or dependent adult
  • A court orders disclosure of information
  • You provide written consent to share specific information

Physical Safety And Appropriate Touch

Physical Activities:
  • Some retreat activities may involve movement, outdoor activities, or physical exercises
  • Please inform facilitators of any physical limitations, injuries, or medical conditions
  • You have the right to modify or decline any physical activity
  • We are not liable for injuries resulting from your participation
Touch Policy:
  • All touch is optional and with explicit consent
  • Touch may include: handshakes, hugs, or supportive touch
  • You may decline any physical contact at any time
  • Please communicate your boundaries clearly
  • Inappropriate or unwelcome touch should be reported immediately

Emergency Procedures

Medical Emergency or Mental Health Crisis:
  • In case of medical emergency, we will contact emergency services; in case of mental health crisis, we will assist in connecting you with appropriate emergency services
  • We may contact emergency services (911) if there is imminent danger
  • Please disclose any medical conditions, allergies, or medications that might affect your participation
  • Bring all necessary medications and medical supplies

Complaints And Reporting

Colorado Department of Regulatory Agencies (DORA):
  • Primary Facilitator Megan Ness practices under Colorado regulations
  • Complaints may be filed with: Colorado Department of Regulatory Agencies, Division of Professions and Occupations, 1560 Broadway, Suite 1350, Denver, CO 80202, (303) 894-7800, dora.colorado.gov

Professional Life Coach Certification Bodies:

  • Both facilitators maintain certifications through International Coach Federation (ICF)
  • Complaints regarding coaching ethics may be filed with the respective certification body
  • Contact information for reporting will be provided upon request

Participant Responsibilities

You agree to:

  • Participate authentically and respectfully
  • Maintain confidentiality of other participants
  • Communicate your needs and boundaries clearly
  • Take responsibility for your own self-care
  • Engage in activities within your physical and emotional capacity
  • Follow all retreat guidelines and policies

Please do NOT participate if you:

  • Are currently in acute mental health crisis
  • Are under the influence of drugs or alcohol
  • Have untreated severe mental health conditions
  • Are unable to function safely in a group setting
  • Have communicable diseases that could affect other participants

Technology And Social Media

  • Use of recording devices requires consent from all present
  • Social media posts featuring other participants require their consent
  • Retreat content and processes are proprietary and not to be recorded without permission

Force Majeure

Neither party shall be liable for delays or failures due to circumstances beyond reasonable control, including but not limited to: natural disasters, government actions, or health emergencies.

Electronic Signature Agreement

By typing my full legal name below, I agree that my typed name constitutes a legally binding electronic signature with the same legal force and effect as my handwritten signature. I voluntarily choose to authenticate this document electronically and agree to be bound by all its terms.
